After 12 years of intense research & experience in horology, Kim Eugene decided to widen his

Vision by exploring the world.

Amy Eujeny, the brand was founded in 2009, with only his love for haute-hologerie.

Kim Eugene, born in a modest family in a small town in South Korea, decided to pursue his goal

during high-school despite all the opposition from his entourage and began to learn by working in

a semiconductor factory for years.

Struggling but passionated as he is, he never stopped studying about what he can create with

precious metals that can lead to something special.

While all of his friends worked as an associates at diverse companies with masters & phds, he

spent nights at the factory to be closer to metals to analyze and try to figure out what he can

reate with them.

Still struggling as labor fee was one of the lowest of any jobs, but he never gave up.

Everything was tough for a young boy to achieve anything with that pattern of life.

But when the passion takes the form to lead the way, miracle can happens.

That miracle was the creation of the heating systems.

Yes, he finally succeeded to create a heating wire first in 19?? then all kinds of heating systems

based on his creation.

Not only he learnt how to manufacture precious metals, he also understood the market's needs.

The start wasn't as glorious as it should be, but when your creation understand NEEDS, the rest is

matter of time.

His unstoppable passion made him the business man that he is now.

Started very humble and still humble, he executes his business calmly and firmly.

Time passes, traveled around the world and he coincidentally had an opportunity to encounter

vintage watches. Uninterested but intrigued, he returns to that shop a year after, and some left

ones were still there but more expensive.

That day, his 2nd passion was born.

Back to school, he restarted to learn about timepieces.

His accumulated knowledge & success led rapidly to take the next step.

He had everything, labor, factory, all kinds of metals to start but Two important things were

missing.

"The timeless Design of Horology and it's complications".

And again to pursue his 2nd passion, he traveled and still traveling to Switzerland, France, England,

Japan and more to learn again.

During 12 years of research, His business goes deeply down and slightly up, it is still running but

not like old days, he kept thinking about closing his 2nd passion, as financially it takes too much

and too long to bear.

As a learner never gets old, he still was a young boy wanting profoundly pursue his dreams.

His beliefs may be was too strong to shut down everything.

Absorbing all the shocks, he manage to keep his dreams under control quietly, and his passion

uddenly grew again when he finally met the right person that he can pursue his horology dream

with.

After 12 years of unstoppable steps, he is finally going further, with the very first in-house

movement in Korea, collaborating with other deeply passionated watchmakers of the world to

elevate his talents, to share his visions and mostly to create a history that was never happened

before in Korean Horology.
